The Scott Brown of New York?
http://www.futureofcapitalism.com/2010/03/the-scott-brown-of-new-york
Former Bear Stearns chief economist and Reagan administration Treasury official David Malpass now has a rudimentary campaign Web site up and running for his U.S. Senate bid as a Republican from New York. He appeared on CNBC this morning and was asked if he planned to buy a pickup truck like now-Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts. In the CNBC appearance, Mr. Malpass kept the message pretty general: "We need jobs and growth...We need Washington to stop the tax and spend policies....I'm all in favor of jobs, but they aren't created by Washington, they are created by the private sector...stop the spending machine." by Ira Stoll | Mar 16, 2010 at 11:26 pm Related Topics: New York, Politics receive the latest by email: subscribe to the free futureofcapitalism.com mailing list Comment on this item |
