House Passes DISCLOSE Act

The Washington Examiner has some good coverage of the DISCLOSE Act, the attempt by Congress to overturn the Supreme Court's Citizens United v. FEC decision, and, along with it, the First Amendment, by law rather than Constitutional Amendment. Rather than the blanket protections on free speech and the right of petition that are included in the First Amendment, the DISCLOSE Act gives certain favored groups more speech rights than other, less favored groups.
