An August 18, 2008 editorial in Investor's Business Daily that appeared under the headline "Like Father, Like Son," also got into the policy views of Barack Obama Sr. described in the Dinesh D'Souza Forbes article. It includes more priceless quotations from that 1965 article in East Africa Journal, including this one: "the government should restrict the size of farms that can be owned by one individual throughout the country."
Politico got into the issue back in April of 2008 and posted a link to the entire journal article. When it was originally published in 1965, Barack Obama was about 4 years old. Sons have certainly been known to rebel against their fathers' politics, and President Obama and his father had a complicated relationship. So one wouldn't want to make too much of it. But it's interesting context, and one wouldn't want to make too little of it, either.
