Does Higher Education Pay?

Boston University professor Laurence Kotlikoff has a piece up at Bloomberg News running the numbers on whether college and graduate school are worth the time and tuition: "Does education pay? Not necessarily."

He acknowledges that his analysis treats higher education "as purely a financial investment" and ignores "its tremendous personal and social non-pecuniary rewards."
