Mitt Romney's criticism of President Obama for supposedly cutting $500 billion from Medicare is the subject of my column this week. "Just to be precise, far from cutting $500 billion from Medicare, President Obama has, in a mere three years, managed to increase Medicare spending to $494 billion in 2011 from $391 billion in 2008.
