The New York Times Discovers the Homeless

The New York Times has a feature on the surge of homelessness among young Americans. Is it just me, or does anyone else out there have the feeling that if it had been a Republican president running for re-election, this is the sort of article that would have run on the front page, before the election, instead of inside the paper, after the election?
