Reader comment on: Gail Collins on Sarah Palin's Look

Submitted by J.Johnson (United States), Jul 15, 2010 10:41

I don't think it is fair or reasonable to make judgments about a woman's appearance UNLESS that woman herself stoops to making such judgments, as Gail Collins has. One thing for sure is that Collins' position in the world is certainly not based on looks. As for her attitude, over many years I have been able to discern absolutely nothing beyond the standard kneejerk liberal outlook. It is truly comical to read her political debates with fellow N.Y. Times columnist David Brooks when they both exclaimed the virtues of, and voted for, Obama. Ditto for Brooks and Mark Shields on the PBS Newshour, a farce that Lee Bollinger would surely find worthy of a govt. subsidy.
