To me, the point is, when you are in a position of power, especially if you are a person who is pointing the finger at others, there should not even be a hint of manuevering for tax advantages. I also don't blame someone for doing whatever is legal to avoid taxes. However, when you are a person that advocates higher taxes and ALL should pay their fair share, make sure that you do not do inappropriate things, (although legal) to avoid paying your fair share.
