Minimum requirements law

Maybe the state of CA can come up with a law that defines minimum requirements to be a parent. The first question:
Your child wants a Happy Meal. Your decision, based on your beliefs, is No. She whines. Do you:
a. Give in
b. Be a competent parent and stick to your guns
What's going to happen when your kids get older????
