Recall they hated Irish and Catholics. (full unoffical name was Anti-Catholic Know Nothing party). They agreed on immigration but disagreed on everything else so fell apart on the slavery issue (1856). So they have now re-incarnated, just against different groups. The immigrants are changing the US in ways we don't like! (The country always changes as the generations change that's called history stupid)
