Well said. Facebook allows your readers to "be the first of your friends to like this." Unfortunately, Facebook doesn't offer the option of being the first of your friends to love this blog post. Well, I love it because it perfectly describes a certain mindset. There was a time when what M. Dominique Strauss-Kahn is accused of having done was considered simply, le doit du seigneur---the right of the nobleman to do as he liked with his servants and all those who worked for him. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. Socialism, indeed.
