He was charged with harassing a subordinate a couple of years ago but things got hushed up. It appears that a lot of folks in France knew he chased women a lot. Actually as to the living standards everyone who gets to the elite level thinks they are entitled, it appears to come with the territory. Look at the way some CEOs live such as the ex-head of Tyco. So I would phrase it as this is the way a lot of the elite live shielding themselves from contact with the riff-raff.
