Corporations versus political parties

Reader comment on: A Big Victory for Free Speech

Submitted by LarryH (United States), Jan 22, 2010 05:57

If we substituted the words "political parties" where the word "corporations" appear, how would these varied perspectives and insights change? Perhaps a 60-day ban on ALL electioneering communications, even candidates' appearances and questions-and-answers, should be added to a new McCain-Feingold bill. The electorate would then have a two-month Pondering Period, although this would handicap those disinclined to the monastic approach of relying upon the written words from an ancient history of more than 1,440 hours ago.

Even pundits and polls muddy the water.
