GOP mailingsReader comment on: Republicans Fundraise Using 'Census' Deception Submitted by Less (United States), Jan 22, 2010 12:31 I've noticed, and I hate it. They even sent one that said something like "final notice" on the envelope. Thanks, GOP, for making my mailman think I'm not paying my bills. I have decided that EVERY mailing from the GOP (also NRSC, NRCC, any of the National Republican groups) gets a lovely response from me. I write "REMOVE ME FROM YOUR LIST" in big black marker across the response form, and I mail it back to them, which will cost them the postage. It's a small thing, but if they want to waste their money that way, fine by me. My Senator and Congressman (Cornyn and Culberson) have figured out that I prefer electronic communication, which costs them less money and gains them more attention from me, so that's the method they use to communicate. They get it, I will vote for them. Note: Comments are moderated by the editor and are subject to editing. Other reader comments on this item
