Reader comment on: Thoughts on the CNN/Tea Party Debate

Submitted by david milliken sr (United States), Sep 13, 2011 17:34

true, many topics were discussed in depth, but personally,i feel that more time spent by candidates presenting and "roundtable" debating in a civil discourse would have been more productive-had they put forth their proposals and then calmly presented their pros and cons on on each topic, the process might have been more meaningful-i thought as a society we were past the enjoyment of bloodsports...tearing each other down and declaring a winner does not impress me,and it only tends to show ignorance/arrogance,and there is already plenty of that in DC-do we really need any more?
