Newt hit all the right notes last night

Reader comment on: Gingrich South Carolina Victory Speech

Submitted by Allen Roth (United States), Jan 22, 2012 21:04

Being angry served Nixon at the ballot box and it will help Newt. Every voter who is not wedded to Obama understands what Newt means by the elites in New York and DC. I'm a New Yorker and I am sick and tired of Bloomberg, Obama's Wall Street backers (many of whom now back Mitt), and the media elites at the NY Times, NBC, etc.

Newt's victory speech positioned him as the champion against Obama and his radical view of the world. Mitt sounded like a primary candidate. Newt like a presidential candidate.
