Reader comment on: Brown-Warren Debate

Submitted by bart 60 (United States), Sep 20, 2012 22:06

Everyone cheered Warren at the Democratic convention for her comment about oil companies "guzzling down record profits." Exxon Mobil makes .06 cents per dollar on gas after taxes and capital investment. Federal and state taxes are .54 cents per $1 on that same gas for doing nothing. The general ignorance of the American public as it relates to economics allows this crazy Professor to turn comments like these into a positive for her campaign.
