Maybe I'm just really tired... but did the bulk of your argument against Michelle Obama's statement/concerns/food movement rely on an example comparison between the back of a truck to a large, established grocery/produce market? Ira, I think you should try living (not visiting) in a food desert without means of private transportation before you critique any structural and/or policy changes concerning urban food movements. I'd like to see you write this same blogpost after you eat 364 days worth of fresh fruit and vegetables from the back of some man's truck.
