You're kidding, right?

CVS is a private company pursuing profits. A casual visit to any CVS store will show you that they are emphasizing preventative care, on-site medical evaluation, vaccines and the like. They believe that this is a growing field, offering convenience, flexibility and low-cost services. Why on earth would they want to sell tobacco products, the only products currently allowed to be sold which, if used as directed, kill 400,000 people annually in the US alone? From a profit standpoint, this is the best decision for the long run. I thought this website favored free enterprise. Then let them be free to pursue the best bottom line.
