First...as the other poster stated...Associate professor is a measure of academic rank or seniority....it is higher than an assistant professor or instructor but not at the level of a fully tenured professor...It does NOT imply full or part time

Second.....For someone who is worried about the finances of the city....it seems odd and a little petty that you would pick out the two specific examples that you have a philosophically disagreement with...Mr. Beinart made a clear and reasonable case for his position....whether you or I agree with it or not....

You and your veiled attempt to expose a supposed 'injustice' is just mean spirited
