Qantas airlines has reportedly settled out of court with an American passenger who sued the carrier over hearing loss after being seated next to a screaming 3-year-old boy. Walter Olson, call your office. Stories like this are a reminder that it's amazing that Congress is tackling health reform, financial reform, immigration reform, campaign finance reform -- just about every reform in the book, but not tort reform.
