Storing Gold

From a USA Today article on investing or speculating in gold: "Once you own a gold coin, you have to figure out where to store it. Most people prefer a bank safe-deposit box. If you don't trust banks, find a secure place where robbers can't get your coins."

Something about that "If you don't trust banks" line made me smile. I can't quite put my finger on why.
