Sunday Alcohol Sales in Georgia

Cost-Free Job-Creating Idea No. 14 was ending state and local blue laws that keep retailers closed, or restrict sales of certain items, on Sundays. Early poll results had voters in most of the 51 metro Atlanta jurisdictions giving a resounding yes Tuesday to seven days of package sales in referendums, continuing the slow dissolution of a blue law dating to the late 1800s, one of the last restraints on Sunday consumption." by Editor | Nov 9, 2011 at 11:50 am receive the latest by email: subscribe to the free futureofcapitalism.com mailing list Comment on this item |
