By what standards are US individual tax rates high?

Compared to Europe they are low UK now tops at 50% and taxes are going up accross the EU due to the debt issue. If you want to compare to Hong Kong fine, but Europe is a better comparison. Some taxes have to go up thats clear or we need to give up our defense adventures around the world or likely both.

corporate tax rates high I said, not individual. Look at the OECD rankings, or the Tax Foundation.
