Reader comment on: How Goldman Backed Moore's 'Capitalism' Movie

Submitted by Susan (United States), Sep 25, 2009 10:05

Actually, Michael Moore acknowledges the irony of the corporate mentality: they hate his message, but back his films because the films make money. A well-programmed capitalist might call this a mature, responsible approach to a profitable business transaction. As a lifelong student of human folly, I call it funny as hell.

Kudos to Goldman; kudos to Michael Moore. The film is ultimately entertainment, though of the genre that encourages viewers to think. Or is that the worrisome factor?
