Medicare premiums

Reader comment on: Glenn Hubbard in Politico

If you go to the Medicare web site if you don't have the time, today's part A premium is $461/month. The full part B premium is now 353/month. Since part B is already indexed one must assume he is talking about part A the hospital part. So excluding the drug part the premium is about 9700/year today. The question is how is the plan indexed? Note that part B starts out at $110 for for under 107 single and rises to the 353 above 214 for single taxpayers.
