Journalism today?

Thank you for your note - I agree - today's journalism is a poor effort compared to a few decades ago. The 'pretty' people who read the news on TV (not all, but several) accentuate every story as though it was heralding the end of times - and it is clear that the reader knows little about the subject. I think my local news is better as it is closer and subject to direct customer feedback.
