Reader comment on: Pete Schiff on Gold and Goldline

Get quotes from several sources including GoldLine, for say Krugerrands or US 1 Oz coins. Then compare and one can determine the mark up. It actually makes sense in general something that is advertised costs more because someone has to pay the cost of the adds, (of course the media would never admit this because ads are the goose that lays the golden egg for the media). There are hints but not yet clear trends of moving back to the media of the 1820s where newspapers were owned by the political parties and were mostly editorial with a little news on the side. Of course back then setting up a newspaper did not take much capital compared to once the steam press took over.
