The gap is a good thingReader comment on: Climate Change and Income Inequality Submitted by John (United States), Jan 6, 2010 11:39 For the life of me I cannot understand how this idiotic issue contunes in the public forum. It's this simple: Poor people have zero. Zero will always be zero. But as society advances, more and more people increase their standard of living and become "rich". There is no upper limit to "rich". Therefore, unless we want a world where everyone gets poorer and poorer, the gap between zero and "rich" must always be increasing!
