Above 200k/year a single person pays the full freight on part B of about 330/month and pays $50 per month extra on part D. So the only part not means tested is part A where the cost if you did not have enough quarters of contributions is $426/month. The media are so ignorant on the subject. Yes if you make less than 80k its 96/month. I guess the media wants to take the limits lower, so that at 100k/year you pay the whole freight.
