The federal government's use of funds to support local programs is like giving a drug addict more drugs. Every level of government is addicted to more, more, more funding. To call giving money to programs that can't support themselves a "jobs bill" is only postponing the inevitable day of reckoning.

We need to end government spending and borrowing and leave capital in the private sector where it will live or die based on merit, and not determined by some politician or government bureaucrat based on political contributions...
