This is scary. Post citizens united, a few billionaires have the power to buy elections. Now, perhaps without outspending 7-1 Walker would have won, but no way it would have been 7%. I think it is going to take a clean sweep by the radical right and for people to see the consequences of living in a nation with no meaningful government for a real movement to build that will amend the constitution and restore some equality to political speech. This election makes me ill - like watching the Yankees sign a high priced free agent and then win the World Series. But worse.

There are many examples of candidates spending more money than their opponent and losing anyway. And labor unions poured lots of money into this campaign, too.
