Remove regulatory barriors to entry into medical jobs

I enjoyed the column on regulation of florists. Nuts. You even touched on lawyers - but what about doctors? We have mystified medicine and no one blames the problem on too few doctors, or at least matching the demand for services with the proper providers. The latter has seen some movement, but doctors are just like the other protected groups - they like the status quo. The regulations are a huge part of the problem, and we are about to get hit with more. Please expose this.
