Did the Taing's receive government help when they arrived here?

Republican's are hypocrites when they say "you built that!" ...I'm happy that the Taing's came here, I'm happy that they are successful, and I'm happy they have built a business.....but....I'd like to know, what help and from who did they receive assistance...did the GOP help them, or was it friends, was it the government.... maybe they did everything, every little thing on their own...that would be a first...not that they aren't hard workers, but Obama's remarks have been so out of context, it's amazing that anyone is listening to the Republican's ....it's laughable...almost everyone gets help from someone! ...even the arena that the RNC is holding their convention got over $80 million in assistance to build that. So how dumb to use.... we built that...in this very arena!
