Samantha, you have taken the words out of my mouth, and out of the mouths of many. You are correct about religion teaching a most fundamental human requirement, the difference between right and wrong--in other words, morality. Without morality, we are lost, which appears to be happening, maybe not permanently, but still, causing great harm to society and individuals. The atheists and agnostics have no way to learn what religion teaches, and have no long term incentive to live any way except the way their animal instincts lead them.
