An Ipsos/University of Virginia Center for Politics poll of presidents from Eisenhower through Trump found President Kennedy was the highest rated. New York Times columnist Ross Douthat observed "the cult of JFK endures even unto the third generation," but as I put it on Twitter, "Another way to look at it is, growth-oriented tax cuts + military buildup = very popular president."
