WSJ and the FedReader comment on: Free Enterprise Fund v. PCAOB Submitted by Brett (United States), Jun 28, 2010 12:53 Horray! SarBox is a virus on the back of business enterprise. It should be completely wiped out. Kudos to Roberts and Co on SCOTUS. Responding to the end of your post; I for the life of me cannot understand why the normally-stalwart defenders of the free market are so uncritical of the Fed. The Fed is a useless, destructive force interfering in the economy. It more than anything else, with Greenspan at the helm was responsible for the financial crisis. No other aspect of the narrative, from congress/administrations and Wall Street would have been possible were it not for their insanity with .0002 interest rates for the better part of a decade. Opposition to the Fed is no longer, thankfully, such an extreme position, but if the Journal can't take up this issue no mainstream paper will.
