Actually suggests the publisher lets the paper match the community

It makes good business sense to have an editorial orientation that fits ones readers. The NYT company is clearly doing this rather than the Murdoch one size fits all model. The NYT reader is more liberal than the Worcester reader so the paper follows its readers. (To get more ads )
