Avoid carrying large amounts of cash in small Texas Towns

CNN had a series on how in small Texas towns they would stop people with 10s of thousands of dollars in cash and confiscate it as drug money. These people said they were going to buy a car with currency, but of course the question is where they got it. Note that they were immigrants and may not have trusted the banking system, but of course in addition to the legal system in the small towns there are folks that would rob one.
