Perhaps he is open-minded

When faced with a set of facts that contradict one's ideology, one can either change the ideology or discount the facts. Generally, myself included, I tend to discount the facts, create arguments against them, and never doubt my ideology. I have a lot of respect for those who are open minded enough to see facts and change their thinking, it seems that this is what Greenspan has done. More power to him - particularly since his ideology now appears close to mine!
