Don't Forget Willie MaysReader comment on: MIT Shines In Harvard Admissions Trial Submitted by Frank Barron (United States), Oct 22, 2018 19:45 As a Red Sox fan who has worked in New York City for 40 years, I must sorrowfully remind you that the Sox could have had, not just Jackie Robinson, but also Willie Mays, were it not for the instransigent racism of Tom Yawkey. It makes one want to cry, for more reasons than one. The least important of them is that the Sox woukd have had an outfield that included Ted Williams, the greatest hitter of all time, and Willie Mays, arguably the greatest all-round ballplayer of all time.
