Bush's Intellect

Reader comment on: A Cheap Shot at Bush

Submitted by J.Johnson (United States), Sep 3, 2010 16:51

Per documents obtained by the Washington Post, Bush scored 1206 on the SAT test, which he took prior to the test being 'recentered,' which would make his score equivalent to 1300 or so today, not counting the new writing test. This score would put him at roughly the 80th percentile of test takers. I'll leave it to others to decide how smart this makes him in comparison to Boston Globe writers or others who dump on him. It is interesting to note however, that the MSM shows no comparable eagerness to obtain the test scores, SAT, LSAT, et al, of the current president, who they so consistently describe as being extremely smart.

And Bush's grades at Yale were also reportedly better than John Kerry's.
