Auto IndustryReader comment on: Steven Rattner's Book Submitted by HERBERT HIRSHAN (United States), Sep 13, 2010 13:51 Just finished Alfred Sloan's " My Years at GM" book. Conclusion-- GM can only be successful if they develop and introduce a ' Mercedes' quality car. They have to show that they can develop the BEST car for the consumer and their other brands will sell. They will NOT be successful otherwise. Sloan was after an air cooled engine. Try it now...and do it...don't sleep till you do it!
