Too many people in the US think it is possible to get rich quick, a lot of the current mess was caused by get rich quick thinking. Recall that a lot of the western us was settled by get rich quick schemes (gold rushes). The prize linked savings would just be another scheme marketed to the get rich quick folks. Wall street is a casino so now we need the banks to be casinos, essentially the goal would seem to be that life should be made into one big casino. (I want to be the house in that game)
