Lowden's state GOP threw out the entire primray results from the presidential election in favor of appointing delegates to the national GOP convention by conference call. She would have lost. Angle may win, and at this point seems more likely than Reid to do so.

This 'less electable' meme completely overlooks that in this environment the 'norm' of squishy corporate welfareists are not electable.

The same goes true of Rand Paul in KY. Trey Grayson, son of a banker and supported by the lobbyists for AIG would not have won support this year. Dems don't WANT conservatives to be considered electable, and those who live to barter power in DC want more power to barter. But that isn't what the ELECTORATE wants.
