If a socialist was President, he or she might do stuff like this -

Start trade wars & use emergency powers to levy tariffs
Give subsidies to farmers who lost money because of the tariffs
Order American companies to pull out of a foreign country
Take money from the defense budget to pay for a boondoggle that Congress refused to spend money on
