The only thing Bloomberg's failure proves is that the Russians are better at spending money than his consultants; they only had to spend a few hundred thousand dollars on Facebooks to elect Trump, but Bloomberg wasted $700MM for American Samoa. We need to ban all political speech, make the candidates rely only on MSM - then we'll finally be safe from corrupt special interest groups. Post-Watergate reforms went a long way in restoring Americans' faith in government; now, we need to close the remaining loopholes. [PS The fact that you're wondering if I'm serious is all the proof you need that the arguments for campaign finance regulations are idiotic. Basically, all you have to do is state their claims to rebut them.]
