Emphasise the point about state level

Reader comment on: Fed Up!

Perry wanted to build something called the trans texas corridor with toll roads and rails 1 route from Laredo to the OK line thru Dallas, and another from San Antonio to Houston, with others later. This involved taking 400 foot right of way from farmers and other rural land owners. The legislature rejected that. But Perry really just wants strong state government at the expense of the Feds. Another example until recently homes build in un-incorporated areas not in the Extra-Territorial juristiction of cities (Buffer zone of 2-5 miles around cities) did not require any inspections at all. For example when my house was built in 1986 it just took a septic tank permit no building permit required, being in the un-incorporated area of the county. So the state now requires the inspection. So Perry really wants to bring back the republic and has dreams of being Mirabau Bonaparte Lamar, one of the Presidents of the Republic of Texas who thought Texas should expand to California.
