I hired a contractor last week for a number of repairs in a building. The contractor said he couldn't immediately get to all the work. He was backlogged and understaffed because: 1) one employee refused to leave his apartment because of COVID fears, and 2) another employee was earning more from unemployment benefits than he'd earn returning to work.
