Thanks for reprinting this.

I'm sure, like myself, many of your readers have long stopped reading the Times and a letter to the editor like this gives us cheer. Too many times though, the Times' shoddy reporting goes unremarked. It's hard to believe that the Times doesn't get a response for much of what it does and one has to assume that not many of those letters are printed.

Again, thanks for slogging through all the garbage in the Times to retrieve gems like this.
